These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the MK Master website and your engagement of our painting services in Australia. By requesting a quote, booking a service, or using our website, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, you must not use our services or website.
1. About us
MK Master (“MK Master”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) provides professional residential and commercial painting services across the Sydney metropolitan area.
Our registered business address is 343 Pitt Street, Sydney NSW 2000, Australia. You may contact us at info@mkmaster.au or 0435 768 223.
2. Our services
We offer a range of painting services including, but not limited to, residential painting, commercial painting, deep painting, move-in/move-out painting, post-construction painting, and window painting.
Service inclusions, frequency, and scope are confirmed in your quote, booking confirmation, or service agreement. Any work outside the agreed scope may require a revised quote and your approval before we proceed.
- Services are performed by trained, insured personnel using professional equipment and products unless you request otherwise in writing.
- We reserve the right to decline or discontinue service where a property poses health or safety risks, or where access or conditions prevent safe and effective painting.
- Photos or descriptions on our website are illustrative; actual service delivery follows your agreed scope.
3. Quotes and bookings
Quotes provided via our website, phone, or email are estimates based on information you supply. Final pricing may change if the property size, condition, or scope differs materially from what was described.
A booking is confirmed when you accept a quote (or pay a deposit, if required) and we issue written confirmation by email or SMS.
You must provide accurate contact details, property address, access instructions, and any relevant information (pets, alarms, parking, special surfaces, allergies, or product preferences).
4. Pricing and payment
Prices are quoted in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable unless stated otherwise.
Payment terms are specified at booking. We may require payment on completion, by invoice for commercial accounts, or a deposit for large or specialised jobs.
Late payments may incur reasonable recovery costs and suspension of future bookings until the account is settled.
If you dispute an invoice, you must notify us in writing within 14 days of the invoice date with reasonable particulars of the dispute.
5. Cancellations and rescheduling
We understand plans change. To avoid cancellation fees, please give us at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a confirmed booking.
Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice, or failure to provide access at the scheduled time, may incur a cancellation or call-out fee up to the value of the booked service, at our discretion.
If we need to reschedule due to weather, staff illness, or events outside our reasonable control, we will offer the next available time or a full refund of any prepaid amount for the affected visit.
6. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for ensuring safe access to the property at the scheduled time, including keys, codes, parking, and clearance of hazards.
Please secure valuables, cash, jewellery, sensitive documents, and fragile or irreplaceable items before we arrive. We are not liable for loss or damage to items not properly secured or disclosed.
You must inform us of any health conditions, hazardous materials, asbestos concerns, mould, pest infestations, or structural issues that may affect painting.
Pets should be secured or removed from work areas unless previously agreed. You are responsible for pet behaviour and any injury or damage caused by pets to our staff.
7. Satisfaction guarantee
We strive for excellent results on every visit. If you are not satisfied with an aspect of a completed painting job, notify us within 24 hours (or the period stated in your commercial agreement) with specific details and, where possible, photos.
We will arrange a reasonable repaint of the affected areas at no extra charge where the issue is due to our service failure and not pre-existing conditions, undisclosed hazards, or scope limitations.
Our satisfaction guarantee does not cover normal wear and tear, permanent stains, damage that existed before painting, or results that cannot reasonably be achieved without specialist restoration.
8. Liability and insurance
MK Master maintains public liability insurance appropriate to our operations. Details are available on request.
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law and other applicable law, our liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to re-supply of the services or refund of the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or economic loss (including loss of profit, business interruption, or loss of data) except where such loss cannot be excluded by law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee or right you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Events outside our control
We are not in breach of these Terms if delay or failure results from events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, utility failures, or industrial action.
12. Governing law and disputes
